After many years of managing her own businesses and working for other companies, Shelly realized she's best at and most loved the bookkeeping and accounting aspect of her positions. This lead her to start her freelance bookkeeping company, Specialized Bookkeeping Services.
She is a certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor, Quickbooks Online ProAdvisor, and a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers. Having started companies herself, she understands the needs of a new business owner and what it takes to help make that business successful.
She discovered along the way there are many business owners who have yet to discover how having accurate books truly effects the success of the business. She has helped companies get started from scratch and has taken existing companies' books and financials from disastrous to clean and organized!
